Fostering Smiles is an initiative of Karson’s Kompassion Project (KKP). The mission statement of KKP is To bring a smile to the under-served both locally and globally by identifying and filling in gaps with resources, programs or services in the areas of education, shelter, food, and discipleship.

Fostering Smiles looks to fill those gaps locally in the foster community. Over 1,000 children in our region enter foster care each year. The first few days in foster care bring a lot of changes for both the child and the foster family.
