Welcome Kits are intended to assist licensed foster and kinship families bringing in new placements through DSS or other placing agencies. 

Welcome Kit requests should be made within 72 hours of a child coming into your care. We do our best to honor all Welcome Kit requests. 

After submitting this form below, we will be in touch within 24 hours to set up a time to deliver a Welcome Kit and assist with connections or other resources you may need. 

One of our volunteers will deliver Welcome Kit(s) to your home if you are within 20 miles of our workshop, 95 Bird Street in Rock Hill. If you are outside of our delivery range, after submitting your request, when we contact you we will set up a time that you may pick up Welcome Kit(s) within 2 days at the above address.

A Heart Item is something that you think would help us know the child’s likes to potentially provide a book, blanket, etc that will feel personal and hopefully bring a smile to their face. This could be anything from a favorite color, favorite animal, or whatever you feel can help us try to speak to their heart.
